The Suburban Art Project March - August 2007
The Suburban Art Project was a recording project that began in March 2007. This creative project involved seven different singer/songwriters from the Atlanta area. Their original music was recorded and produced by Raymond Lane. The compilation CD entitled Live Art I is a collection of twelve songs written by songwriters Nicholas Alan, Jeff Delbridge, Timothy Michael, Joanna Robinson, Shauna Sims, The Rare Birds, and Chris Westbrook. The Suburban Art Project was featured at a Live Art event on August 11, 2007 at 8:00 pm at The Timothy Michael Gallery. The CD will be available at monthly Live Art events and will soon be made available online.
Special Thanks to: Timothy Michael for the wonderful cover art, Raymond Lane for the masterful engineering and producing for this project, Larry Anthony at COS Mastering in Atlanta for the professional mastering, Nicholas Alan and Raymond Lane for the creative design of the CD's artwork, and vocalist Mary Bragg and bassist Jimmy Sullivan for their inventive vocal and bass parts they added to Nicholas Alan's song "Sacrifice."
